On behalf of the Hellenic American Psychiatric Association,(HAPA),I am expressing our sadness for Michael’s passing. He was part of the Founders of HAPA and served our organization with enthusiasm and distinction. He was involved in many HAPA projects. He is being missed by us all.
We will have a short memorial in his honor at our upcoming 11th Annual HAPA meeting on Tuesday May 25th 2010 in New Orleans. We send our condolences to his wife and family.

Campbell, Madison Avenue at 81st Street in Manhattan, Sunday, March 14, from 3-5 and 7-9. Funeral services on Monday, March 15, at Holy Trinity Cathedral, 319 East 74th Street in Manhattan, at 10am.
Contributions in lieu of flowers may be sent to Citizens’ Committee for Children; Kenworthy-Swift Foundation; or a charity of your choice. –

Our dear friend and Past-President, Michael Kalogerakis, died suddenly March 10 while on vacation with his wife, Kay, in Florida. He was 83. Among his many accomplishments, he was also Past-President of International Society for Adolescent Psychiatry & Psychology , and a recipient of American Society of Adolescent Psychiatry’s Schonfeld Award.
